Overview

Everything below is read live from Firestore.

Where the growth is

Real audiences you can reach today. Each one opens a message aimed at exactly those people.

People

Find an Islander by name, username, email or ID — then act on them directly. No copying IDs around.

Moderation

Reports from Islanders. Warnings and bans notify the person immediately, and bypass their notification settings.

Spot suggestions

Corrections Islanders sent from “Know this place?”. Accepting writes the value straight to the Spot and thanks them with a push. Edit the text first if it’s nearly right — their original is kept either way.

Photos to review

Flagged when the automatic check couldn't see a face, or couldn't run at all. A flag can be stale if they've since uploaded a photo that passed.

Spots

Approve venue claims and review promoted-placement campaigns. Approving a claim creates the live Spot and hands the owner their publishing dashboard.

Claims awaiting approval

A venue filed this from the Stores portal. Approving creates the Spot with them as owner; declining leaves it unclaimed.

Promotion requests

A claimed venue asked for promoted rail placement to a target area. Approving starts a billing window; only in-window, in-range impressions are charged.

Messaging

Send a push to one Islander or a whole audience. Everyone who turned these off is skipped automatically.

Count before you send. A message can't be recalled, so Send unlocks only after a dry run.

Every message is saved to Announcements and readable in the app — so it still reaches Islanders who have push notifications turned off.

Send as a direct message instead

Puts the text in Messages as a real conversation from the official Tunda account. It's the only way to reach someone running an older version of the app — an in-app announcement needs the build that can display it.

Use this sparingly. It appears among the people they've matched with, and they will reply to it. Right for a security notice; wrong for product news.

Maintenance

Data tools. Anything destructive asks first and is written to the audit log.

Bring one profile back to a deck
Pick both people by name rather than typing IDs — that's how a bring-back gets aimed at the wrong person.
Rebuild deck eligibility
Fills in the hasPhoto and deckSeed fields the deck query needs. New accounts get these automatically — this is for accounts created before that.
Mark accounts as active
Fills in the missing isActive flag — the field the deck query filters on. Accounts carrying only the older is_active spelling are invisible in every deck until this runs. Safe to re-run: an account already marked inactive keeps that setting.
Fill in a demo profile
Gives a demo account real bio, prompts, interests, details and music so every section of the profile has content. Only works on known demo accounts. Never touches subscription, block lists or bot settings. Preview first — it shows exactly what changes.
Clear an entire swipe history
Every profile they've passed or liked returns to their deck. For testing — this can't be undone.
Why can't someone see this profile?
Checks every rule the deck applies and names the one hiding them.
